Government contracts attorney, blog founder, and Maynard Nexsen partner Josh Duvall was recently interviewd by Elijah Edwards of The GW Hatchet for a story on The George Washington University Law School's new mentoring platform Law Link. This new exclusive networking and mentorship platform is designed to support law students as they launch their careers.
As the article states, "GW Law Link is an exclusive platform where current GW Law students can connect with alumni for mentorship and career advice, according to a University release. The release states that the website has already registered over 500 alumni, more than 80 percent of whom said they are 'actively willing' to mentor students."
Among other things, “[Duvall] said he signed up to mentor students on the platform because he wants to ‘give back’ to the law school community that helped him launch his career. ‘As an alumni of GW Law, I think it’s important to give back and it’s important to find ways to help others, and I think that would be true as a law graduate or otherwise,’ Duvall said.”
